More color ideas for both characters, although Maggie's required much less experimentation. The notes on the drawings show some thoughts that I had while working on it, and any feedback would be mucho appreciated.

So I finally hijacked a computer and am able to upload my walk cycle!  There's some crazy butt movements which I found too enjoyable to change.

So right now I'm just working on getting her bubbly, outgoing personality across. Any critique would be great, as this is my first walk cycle in years and it sure needs a lot of help.

Maggie and Lucy Concept

Sorry for the crude upload from a phone camera, but there's no scanner here at my house.  The inking also kind of butchered any nuance in the line art.  It was inked from a small sketchbook, sorry.  Anyway, the first image shows the designs for Maggie and the 2nd and 3rd pictures show the designs for Lucy.  I was trying to make their shapes play well off each other, with Lucy being a tall, almost ice cream cone-looking shape (?) and Maggie being a bit more of a short gumdrop.

Okay, I kinda cheated with the environments. I want to do more, but I'm also in the middle of packing, work, early check-outs, and Christmas o_0

Here's what I got for the moment!

 

I played with the idea of Maggie's eyes being white (or a different color) from the rest of her. Adds an extra "creepy" factor. 

What if the "Maggie-goes-ballistic" part has a bit more quirk to it with proportions and lines? Make it a bit more chaotic?

Painting grunge is fun :)
